To address the increasingly complex regulatory and supervisory requirements in Switzerland and Europe, ALTRAFIN took proactive measures at an early stage to establish the necessary legal and corporate governance structures.

The shareholders of ALTRAFIN include its founders as well as Banca dello Stato del Cantone Ticino, which serves as a strategic minority shareholder. Since 2008, ALTRAFIN has held a license from the Swiss Financial Market Supervisory Authority (FINMA) as an asset manager of collective assets under Article 24 of the Financial Institutions Act (FinIA).
